Pickle Springs Natural Area is located in Ste. Genevieve County of southern Missouri. A relatively short trail leads one through hills, valleys and sandstone canyons, hiking past creeks and a double sandstone arch. It is enchanting anytime of year as the canyons are green with moss and ferns, wild azaleas bloom in springtime and fall foliage can be a delight. Heavy rainfall can produce waterfalls in the canyons that can be enchanting as well.
