The Ring of Kerry is probably among the most visited destinations in Ireland. Despite its popularity on the tourist circuit, it remains a place of beauty. Situated along the Wild Atlantic Way on the western coast of Ireland, It's dramatic coastline and ancient history deserves time to explore and photograph. I only had a day on the peninsula and the fickle weather and high winds presented challenges. On Glenbeigh Beach I experienced some of the strongest winds of my trip. Gusts were so strong that it turned my camera sideways on the tripod head and nearly blew my wrap around sunglasses off my face. Yet I was able to obtain some lovely photographs to capture its beauty.
