The blossoming of Bradford Pear trees mark the beginning of springtime. Originally planted as an ornamental tree, this non-native species has begun to invade Missouri and create a concern with conservationists. However, one cannot deny that there is a certain beauty in their spring display. These images capture that beauty as wild trees begin to overtake a field in the St Louis region.
