Snowfall in St Louis while the trees are still displaying their autumn colors is indeed rare. However, that is what occurred on one fall day in 2018. Although I was called away on personal business for the morning, I was able to slip over to the Japanese Garden at Missouri Botanical Garden for a few hours in the late afternoon. What a glorious opportunity to capture this rare event and the beauty of the fall foliage juxtaposed with the fresh snow.
