The famed Cliffs of Moher in County Clare Ireland are truly dramatic. Despite the hoards of tourists they can still create awe. The tourists become like insects, dwarfed in the landscape as the cliffs rise 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean below and the constant waves of the sea crash into the seemingly unrelenting rock face. The cliffs are a familiar sight to Princess Bride movie enthusiasts as they were referred to as the "Cliffs of Insanity" in the movie.
