Although there is a trend to see how color saturated autumn photographs can be, I am partial to the subtle colors of fall. Late fall, as the trees begin to be stripped of their leaves, the bare bones begin to appear against the muted colors. The native oaks of Missouri tend to dominate hillsides with more brownish-red tones which are punctuated with color and bare trees in late autumn.
